A week has passed since the War ended, and like hungry ghosts *choy* they spewed forth from the Temple Gates, towards that irrepressible taste of freedom.
The fact that Judgement Day comes early next year is swiftly forgotten, as they suddenly found themselves to be Mathematical refugees no more, as their attention turned to more urgent life-and-death matters like how to avoid looking like a drag queen in that upcoming prom.
Two weeks have passed since Miss Loi disappeared from this blog, leaving her brother and sister to mess up fill this blog in her absence with hieroglyphic stuff, some of which she will never understand.
Few knew where she’d gone, though she was last heard to have broken some record concerning the most number of phone calls made in two weeks, after pouring through those on her list, with her ears swollen from listening to the constant stream of tragic 凄凉 tales of academic despair and underachievement.
But there have been sightings of Miss Loi popping up in various locations, like a gathering of hungry ghosts:
While others have reportedly caught an unglam sight of her sitting by the side of an unknown street, ravenously gobbling down some of the best bak kut teh in the world:
Before heading towards the hills and subjecting her tiny little frame to be battered by hundreds of centrifugal forces as she zoomed along the long and winding road:
Where she was spotted nursing her swollen ears and camwhoring away in some unknown location:
But regardless of where Miss Loi is, the latest schedules for The Temple‘s December Holiday Jφss Sticks Sessions have somehow magically appeared and are now filling up as we speak.
There’s still time for you to contact Miss Loi to tell her your academic tale and be part of The Temple‘s new batch of salvatees (if there’s such a word). And in return, she might even tell you where the best bak kut teh in the world is.
In any case, it’s great to have finally cleared the list and start blogging again *massages swollen ear*
IMPORTANT: If you’ve pre-booked with Miss Loi earlier in the year but only experienced a long eerie silence till now, please call Miss Loi asap.
Don’t worry, she didn’t abandon you – chances are Miss Loi wasn’t able to reach you when she called. Fate can be cruel at times. *sigh*
