Due to some reason, for the first time in a long time in a galaxy not far away, Miss Loi had to take taxis (eeeks!) to some of her tuition locations today.
With numerous character-transforming experiences trying to hail taxis in the past, Miss Loi thought that things should have improved somewhat – especially when the authorities are encouraging more people to take public transport these days.
This was Miss Loi’s view to the left as she waited for a taxi this morning:
And this was her view to the right:
If you string the above images together and duplicate them 50 60 100 times, this would simulate the number of times Miss Loi turned her poor head left and right desperately over a half-hour period hoping for a taxi to appear. Yeah the wait was so long that she actually took photos of empty roads.
So a really BIG SORRY to her student for being late for tuition this morning. Miss Loi actually believed that there are almost 20,000 taxis plying the streets of Singapore.

This post is just way too wittily dry to resist not laughing out loud! Thank you for the smile too...

DK,
From what the driver of the taxi (that Miss Loi eventually got on) said, they were all having coffee break at that time.
Imagine that there are almost 20,000 taxi drivers having coffee break at the same time in Singapore!

LB,
It was Miss Loi's pleasure for making you LOL.
But it was not much of a pleasure having to stand on that desolate stretch of road for half an hour holding a heavy bag of books and notes! Tsk.
